Right-click on COMPUTER. Select PROPERTIES, Go to DEVICE MANAGER. Under UNIVERSAL SERIAL BUS CONTROLLERS, check all the USB ports to see if they are working properly. If the USB PORT in which you have inserted your pen-drive, is showing an error, right-click over it and select PROPERTIES and make a TROUBLESHOOT.
If this troubleshooting doesn't help you, use another computer to check if your Pen-drive is working there. If the problem persists, go to the manufacturer's service center and ask for a replacement or repair.
there is an overhead for the space on a drive, the system needs a File Allocation Table and other administrative information, so the total 4 GB is usually not 100% available.
It would not work properly without this "administrative" space.
your computer affected by virus, then your memory card will not show in the pc .so you will
install it to another pc,and format it .Flash drive can not
recocknize, becayse there are some reason .
Sometimes when a flash memory stick or USB external
hard drive fails because it was not removed from the USB port properly.
If the device is removed by just pulling it out of the USB port, it can
cause the flash device to fail, you must click on the Safely Remove
Hardware icon on the Task Bar and select the device you wish to remove
and only do so when instructed to do so.
When the flash
memory USB hard drive device appears to malfunction it may be possible
to restore it by reformatting it. Insert the flash or USB hard drive
into the USB port then Click on Control Panel - Administrative Tools -
Computer Management - Disk Management. Then right click on Disk 1
removable drive and click Format. After the flash drive has been
formatted then it will indicate that it is Healthy.
If this doesn't work then it is faulty. www.artplus.hr/adapps/eng/dpr.htm www.CardRecovery.com
