A video on the net? what like u tube, video.Google and yahoo?? its just the admin trying to stop people wasting time, but here is two basic tricks to waste time! lol! Ok, firstly some admins put limitations on .exe programs that can be opened by users. so if you try and install the flash etc they wont open? try renaming the .exe to something they cant stop like winword.exe, or write.exe, or explorer.exe etc... if this doesnt work try this, when you have logged into your network etc...and the login window dissaperrs the computer is receving data through a network cable at the back! simply unplkug it and wait... with most restricted networks and users the system will claim a falure to commect to servers etc... and log you in as a workstation user, and you will find you have more flexability. and/or just use one of millions of proxy sites!!! later.

I can't watch any videos

It is not clear if you are trying to watch video online or videos available on the system.
If the issue is with watching them online then supporting drivers must be missing and for this you need to download at least two softwares named 1. flash player 2. shockwave player.
Link to download is as below:-
http://fpdownload.adobe.com/get/flashplayer/current/install_flash_player.exe
http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/shockwave/default/english/win95nt/latest/Shockwave_Installer_Slim.exe

If this is the issue with playing already available videos on the system then you may consider installing a good video player like VLC player.
consider downloading from below link.

How to download adobe flash for windw vista free

Download the latest and greatest version of the Adobe Flash Player. After it finishes installing, you go to a site featuring Flash content and are greeted with a message notifying you that you need to install Flash Player, but didn't you just do that? To properly update your Flash Player, you need to run the installation as Administrator. Follow these steps to properly install Adobe Flash Player:

For Vista (32 bit):

1. Open Computer.

2. Navigate to C:\Windows\System32\.

3. Scroll down and open the Macromed directory.

4. Open the Flash directory.

5. Right-click FlashUtil9b.

6. Select Run as Administrator.

7. When the UAC prompt appears, select Continue.

8. Follow the Flash Player installation wizard.

For Vista (64 bit):

1. Open Computer.

2. Navigate to C:\Windows\SysWOW64\.

3. Scroll down and open the Macromed directory.

4. Open the Flash directory.

5. Right-click FlashUtil9b.

6. Select Run as Administrator.

7. When the UAC prompt appears, select Continue.

8. Follow the Flash Player installation wizard.

Once the wizard completes, Flash Player has been properly installed and will now function properly.

Why not run video

Hi,

Videos on YouTube are streamed through Adobe Flash player. If you're having trouble playing and viewing videos YouTube, we suggest you install the latest version of the Flash player: this will allow you to easily play YouTube videos.
Here's how to upgrade to the most recent version of Adobe's Flash Player:
  1. Before installing the most recent version of Adobe Flash player, you will need to first uninstall any older versions of the Flash player you've installed in the past and currently have running on your computer.

Please completely uninstall the version of Flash you're currently running, before upgrading to the most recent version. To uninstall Flash, follow Adobe's instructions, listed here. You'll need to download Adobe's official Uninstaller to remove Flash.

  2. Once you've uninstalled the older version of Flash, you'll be ready to upgrade to the most recent version of Flash.
To upgrade to the most recent version of the Flash player, please follow these steps:

    1. Follow Adobe's instructions for reinstalling the most recent version of Flash.
    2. Once you've downloaded the latest version of Adobe Flash, please exit your browser.
    3. Finally, click to install the update that you just downloaded to your computer from the Adobe Flash site.
Once you've done so, open your browser again and go to YouTube. You should now be able so successfully watch videos!

If the instructions above don't resolve the issue, please also try the following:
  1. Temporarily disable popup blocking software installed on your computer to test.
  2. Allow YouTube.com as a trusted site in your Firewall software.
  3. Ensure other applications like Quicktime, iTunes, Real Player, or Windows Media Player aren't set as the default streaming application, as this might affect the video player.

For Windows Vista users:
If the Flash uninstall / reinstall does not work this maybe due to a Microsoft Windows Vista permissions issue.
Please use the Windows button at the bottom left then the search function:
  • Go to: C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash\.
  • Right-click on the following file: FlashUtil9b.exe or FlashUtil9e.exe.
  • Select "Run as Administrator" and install the update..
  • Restart your computer.
Please post your feedback and vote if the issue is resolved as per your satisfaction.

Hi,

Please install the latest version of Flash Player Plug-in which supports YouTube Videos. Without Flash Player Plug-in you cannot watch videos on it.

You can get that Plug-in from the following link:
