Question about HP Computers & Internet

1 Answer

Rm809a mouse hi, my hp mouse isnt connecting to my hp pavilion dv9000 notebook.the mouse is from my hp desktop which has recently had its motherboard blown, therefore i wanted to use its mouse and possibily the hp keyboard. i have tried 'find a bluetooth devive' but it hasnt detected my mouse, i went to help and it said just press the connect button on the mouse but that hasnt worked either. i dont think its the mouses issue but it might be that my hp lapot has a settings somewhere which doesnt let my mouse connect. i hope i have given you enough info for you to help me thanks emma

You have to buy a special dv9000 cord that will hook to the mouse then it will connect. Then you click the connect button on the far left of your screen. Notify me back if it doesn't work thx Awesome cookie

SOURCE: Laser mouse just quit working (red light is no

Sounds like you simply need to replace it as they are pretty finaky to fix. If it was dropped or jarred it may have dislogged the laster out of its holding spot in the mouse. But honestly it probally better off to just replace it.

My HP pavilion dv9500 has failed with a mother board failure. Before I take action I would like to know whether the hp pavilion dv9500 has a history of motherboard faults; if so is there a good URL which...

The DV6000 and the DV9000 have a bad history of failure at the video card. Most of the failures are caused by an overheating issue. The most recent BIOS updates being released by HP have resolved many problems by making the fan run faster and more efficiently to reduce heat. Also when you buy motherboards for these systems, retailers are including small copper plates to put between the heatsink and processor and video chip to help reduce the heat load. Check any forum that mentions the DV6000 and the DV9000 and you will nothing but complaints about the motherboard problems. Most of which were or are out of warranty and consumers told to pack sand by HP support.
