Question about Mitsubishi CS-35305 TV

1 Answer

I have a mitsubishi cs 35305 and the speakers are off

I hit volume and it shows speakers off but it won't give me the option to turn them on. It's an old tv and I'm using a universal remote that lets me set the chanels, the time and everything else. I just want sound. Help please.

I checked there is no switch. according to the manual the you need the tv's remote to access the audio section to turn on the speakers I need to know how to do this with the universal remote

Yes, I have the same problem. Everything works but then there is not sound....why? Please help.

I didn't mean to bring down your rating but I was honest about my response. It didn't help my specific problem. I don't fault your experience or the number of years you have in the business but your solution did not fix my particular problem. If you can help someone with their problems then by all means help them. It just turned out that you couldn't help me. That happens and doesn't mean you should stop  helping other people.

After asking lots of people how to turn on the speakers with a universal remote control I ultimately went to a remote control website and ordered a replacement remote for the TV and guess what....we have sound.
I ordered the remote, it arrived 3 days later, I have sound and I was able to return the remote once I turned on the speakers.
google your tv search for a replacement remote and let there be sound.

Too old for on line tech help. If its an old tv it might have a switch in back of the tv to turn speakers on or off.

If you feel the remote is bad, you will need to find a new remote. The best option here is to find the MCM Electronics website. They will have a brand replacement. Thanks for asking and show a few hands of support!

My tv only shows black and white no color, how do i fix?

You should check circuit boards for bad solder joints. It's possible to have a defective part on the board, open resistors, coil with broken wire or others. You could have a defective chroma chip or joint/part in the area. You should check the tv menu to make sure the color settings haven't been turned down first.

How to fix TV

I have a large black square obscuring the picture. You can see the picture in 1 inch border around the black square. If I reset the input switch, the black square disappears for about one second (the picture is momentarily perfect) and the black square appears again. It is not the cable box because I wired the cable directly into the tv. The same thing happens when I try to play a DVD. Any insights????

TV speakers are turned off

If you already tried the audio button on remote, and turned speakers on, and set monitor volume as varible, and still isn't working, it is possible it is on mute, press mute button to turn on, if not problem, probably is an audio circuit problem.

334P24201 is the part number. There are alternative numbers 334D100018 and 334P24201(0) which Mitsubishi state as an alternative. You can get these both on; or (second one specifies is in stock) There are many more - please ask again with details of where you are if you would like us to find the best option. Hope this helps :)
