SOURCE: Connecting headrest monitors to Kenwood DDX-6019

Youll have to run sets of cables from your head unit to the seats, youll prob only need video, power, and ground if the sound will come from your speakers. For the same display on either monitor run to first position then link the 2 monitors.

Those cables can go bad easily. If you have a meter and know how to use it, try to test continuity on each pin. If that isnt the answer, then either the input of second monitor is faulty, or output of main screen.

Headrest built-in DVd with disc stuck...help

Look for a small hole under or on the side door assembly, if found use a paper clip or other thin metal straight object and insert into hole this will release the disc clamper and open the door.

Harmony 880 does not change input with Onkyo HT-R520 amplifier

You will either have to use your Onkyo remote to teach the Harmony those functions or try one of the similar model receivers in the Harmony software. I had to chose a similar DVD player in the list in order to get my Harmony to play nice with my DVD player.

Dvd hook up

Depending on what leads you have and what connections your equipment has depends on how you would wire it up for a basic setup you need a set of three male to male rca a leads consisting of a RED WHITE and Yellow plugs at each end. Now on the back of your dvd player there should be three female holes the same colou as your plugs and near those holes it should say input plug the leads colour to colour now the other ends of the lead plug into the section of your amp thats says dvd input with the same style holes as the dvd player. then you need to run another cable the same as you have just used to take the sound and picture to the tv you start of plugging one end into the amp where it says monitor or tv out and then at the other end of the lead will plug into the tv in A/V1 or A/V2 if the A/V1 is being used for a video player or camcorder Yellow is Picture Red is Right Sound Channel And White is Left Sound Channel so only plud the matching colours to each other or you will end up no better off hopefully this helped if you get stuck my email is warneatbribie@hotmail.com

Video output issues

this is probably a problem of the relays - yes, there are small relays inside to switch the video in/output.
In this case i think the contacts are the problem. you cant open the relays, so they have to be replaced...
better solution: use a better videostandard such as component or hdmi - do not use the receiver to switch the videosignals, use only for sound...
