There were several differant versions of the TM7. If you have one of the last versions Hilti may still have parts. You can contact them at 800-879-8000. If not you can also try Metabo. They manufactored the TM7 for Hilti.I would look at the commutator segments. This is what the brushes make contact with on the armature. slowy spin the motor and look for excessive gaps between the segments. If you see one with bigger gap that tells you that the armature is burned up. Then it is not worth repairing.

There were several differant versions of the TM7. If it has a grey or blue fiberglass body then it would not have a reverse. If it has a red body then it would have a reverse lever right above the trigger.
