Question about Cornerstone ASUS TXP4 Socket 7 AT Motherboard (CLEAN PULLS)
I recently purchased a gigaybyte motherboard ma78gm-us2h and an athlon x2 7750. After installing processer and hooking up my 500 watt power supply along with my hard drive on a ide, the system boots up but I see nothing on my monitor. It has a hdmi port and I tried this as well on my lcd tv but nothing. I don't even hear any beeps from the bios. I reset the cmos, I thought it was a bad board but I exchanged it for a new one and am having the same problem. Any help....
What kind of memory is in the system?
You will have to install the memory is pairs. I see from teh manual you need to use DDR2 memory and you have to fill the yellow slots first. On this board the memory is Soo important because the onboard video shares it's memory with the system. And I cannot stress this enuf make sure your board in grounded but do not use screws with too large of heads because it will cause it to short out.
Hope this helps.
