Question about Sanyo Cameras

Screen on hd1a goes green and camera freezes when ending a movie capture. Tried several cards (all sdhc). Still images store fine - problem only occurs with video. It began as an intermittent problem but happens all the time now. Camera appears to be operating normally until you end the capture.

It seems like the firmware need update. You don't need to replace anything just check with a Sanyo repair guy and upload the firm ware. that should fix the issue.
Also let me know if the issue comes up even when you are taking small clips or it just happens on long clips.

Let me know
Thanks
K

Thank you, researching more in depth now. So far this appears to be a common issue with these cameras

Well it seems there may be a setting on the camera in relation to the freezing at the end of the capture. I was not able to find a whole lot more as to the resolution to your issue though. I apologize for "wasting" your time. I would suggest posting your question in the free forum her at fixya.com Some one surely will have the answer you're looking for. Good luck

Just bought camera kodak easyshare C195. Took 6 pictures now it says internal memory is full. How do I fix this without having to pay for information. I paid enough for the camera to not have problems

Your camera has only 32MB of internal memory, out of which only 19 MB is available for picture storage. So you can store only a few pictures.
The actual number of images and videos will vary depending on the length, reolution and compression used. For an example, a 1GB memory (1000MB) can store approximately 200 photos at 12MP resolution at 4.6MB file .

You need to buy an SDHC memory card ( micro SDHC card is also fine, then you need an SD card adapter) to store more pictures. These cards are available from 4GB to 32GB , and at different speed class ratings. I would recommend minimum class 4 speed rating so that you can capture high definition video.

These SD memory cards are available at standard stores. One place you can buy them cheap is through ebay. You buy through auction. New ones or used ones. Usually, you may be able to get at half price.

I have a sony trv510. I took several videos many years ago. I tried to play them in my camcorder, but all I could see was a blue screen. I took the videos to a camera store and they said the videos were...

Try transferring the videos to your computer. Connect the camcorder to your computer and open windows movie maker. Then use the capture from camera to capture it from the camcorder. Once its done you can save the captured video to your computer and burn them to a DVD.

Hope this helps,
Sai.

Instead of connecting via the camera, just use a USB card reader and put the CF card in that.

Camera freezes after taking picture

I had this problem with my s1000 Fujifilm, but solved it by changing the standard SD card for a SDHC class 4 card. It no longer freezes when a flash is used! I've tried a 4Gb and a 16 GB SDHC class 4 card and both are fine.

I had a similar problem with my Sharp camorder.
The preview window on XP simply displays corrupted images.
At the end, I bought a different firewire card and it worked for me.

Good luck.
