Question about Motorola Mobility RAZR V3

Buttons don't work

I woke up this morning and my razr doesn't work except the on off button, also I cannot call into it it goes straight to voicemail.. It was not dropped into water or dropped. I don't know what to do and also there are icons at the top of the screen that I am not sure if they were there before, one looks like eyeglasses and the other looks like the phone with arrows pointing at it. any help please????????????????? I need this phone to work!!!

You need to reset your phone. go to settings and look for the master reset. it will ask you a pin code to enter. after reset, the phone will restart if not just turn-off your phone and turn it on again. all will go back to factory settings.

Changes Channels


Need to know model number and date of manu.  You may have bad control assy due to spills or cleaning of screen and liquid went into screen and buttons. will effect remote also

your mainboard is the issue, you need to have th firmware reflash or have them replaced the mainboard.

try changing the flex... keypad circuit goes with it...but have it changed by an expert technician since it's a very complicated task

Buttons do not work, except power button.


Either put it in the freezer for a while, or on a heating pad, believe me, it sounds weird, but it does help.

The buttons...well..they don't work.


If you slept on it you might of got the keys stuck. so find one of the solved problems to open up your keypad and check if theor stuck or if the cabel is loose.

Phone malfunction


This happened to my mom when she dropped the phone...try taking the battery out of the back...and then placing it back in. Let me know if this works!
