Question about Gateway FPD1760 17" LCD Monitor
Ok ,you may have two monitor drivers installed, or if it is wireless the driver may be faulty etc... a problem like this occur when you have two places on a monitor can be attached to your motherboard, direct or PCI, hat means look at the back of your comp. if there is a similar port that the one your using then when the monitor goes blank and just sits their, switch it over, and you should get an image. if its a driver problem, then safe mode will only work, and reinstall your PCI TO PCI or: your PCI BRIDGE drivers in the computer managment console. good luck. if all fails try using an older monitor or just a spare. cheers.
