Press [MODE][3][2]. In first column enter known x-coordinates (1 and 5), in second known y-coordinates (2 and 6). The solution you are looking for is in form Y=A+B*X where X=3. Your calculator computes A and B after you enter data. To calculate Y (which is equal to A+B*3 press [SHIFT][1][7][1][+][SHIFT][1][7][2][*][3][=]. The result should be 4.

You must use the Statistics 2-var regression and choose quadratic regression.

What you call the EE ((entering power of 10 exponents) is done with the help of the key at the bottom right, and marked [*x*10^X].

To enter 6.02x10^23, you do as follows

6.02 [*x*10^X]23. When you use that short-cut key, no 10 should appear on the command line. See screen capture.

If you are doing statistics, Set MODE to 3. Stat.

Choose 1-Var or any regression model. If you press 1-var you will have two lists x and frequency.

For any regression model you have 3 lists x, y, and Freq(uency).

L1, L2, L3, are list names in the TI 83/84 Plus and the Casio graphing calculators.

However I have no idea what getting the charts up mean.
