Question about Washing Machines
My washer just stopped and is full of clothes and water. You can here the motor running, but the dial won't continue - it just stays in the same spot. The inside wash tub doesn't move. It probably ran for about 10 minutes - just enough time to fill up with water and now it is not moving, but you can hear the motor running. Any suggestions?
Sounds like the belt from the ele. motor to the wash drum broke. This can happen from over loading the washer or just wear and tear (lots of loads). Did you save the owners manual? It will give you a break down of the machine and contacts to get parts.
