Have you checked the switch on the top left of the phone?
That's the mute switch. Flip it in the Up position and that should fix your problem
If the phones ringing when you test the ringer in the settings, the ringer works. It's probably just muted..
I hope that helps...
It's in the "Sounds and Ringtones" setting. You just have to switch the ringer on. There is an easier option. There is a ringer switch located on the side just above the volume control buttons. Slide to turn the ringer and notification sounds on or off. (Red means off.)
Not sure which kind of cell phone you have? There must be setting on the phone to turn on the sound and the ringer. Just go the menu and turn it ON and make sure the Volume is not mute(increase the volume to the level you can hear the ringer) . Hope it helps , write the details if this doesn't work.
It actually is in the manual (hidden). On the phone display page it tells you to hold in the volume keys for a few seconds to mute the sound. I only found this when searching the PDF version of the manual for "ringer", this was after reading the manual several times looking for the answer,
You may have hit the mute button, you may have turned the volume down using the buttons or you may have accidentally put it in airplane mode or another mode where "sound off" is specified. Hit the volume mute button, hit the volume up button, go to settings for the volume option, go to the settings menu and change the mode that the phone is set to a standard mode
