Make sure the welder is set up correctly and if your particular model is equipped with a reset button try to reset the welder...If that doesn't work make sure there are no frayed wires in the welding machine touching or grounding out

Code help-3 Indicates that the gun trigger was pulled and held during power up. Release gun trigger and clear fault condition. Also, this display can Indicate no open circuit voltage detected when gun trigger is pulled and no arc detected within 3 seconds, this means that the trigger was held without any metal contact. The machine will shut down in order to avoit the wire to continue to run freely.
Turn on the machine without pressing the trigger on the gun. Then increase to the max the wire speed. Then turn off the machine. Press the trigger after the machine was turn off, then without releasing the trigger, turn on the machine and release the trigger after 2 seconds. That will take care of it.
