SOURCE: Kenmore Sewing Machine model # c877.15

I have an old Kenmore and here are the directions from my manual: 1. Draw thread from spool through bobbin winder tension discs. 2. Wind thread around an empty bobbin several times. 3. Place bobbin onto bobbin winder shaft with thread coming from rear of bobbin. Push bobbin winder latch against bobbin until it clicks. 4. Release clutch by turning clutch knob toward you. Start machine.

SOURCE: threading a sewing machine

What do you mean you are unable to pull the bobbin thread through, elaboration would help solve the problem...
I suspect I'm having the same problem with you if it's anything to do with the top thread looping around in the bobbin holder.

Damn machine!

SOURCE: Shark Euro-Pro Sewing Machine

I had the same problem with my Shark Euro Pro 7133. My problem was in threading the upper thread. The manual does not quite explain so I had to figure this out the hard way.

In threading the upper thread . the thread first goes down from the spool througt a groove. When it comes up it must catch a silver lever that moves up and down before moving it down againPlease let me know whether this helps.

SOURCE: need help to thread our sewing machine.

you really must get a manual for this machine.
You can find manuals online for a small price.
At one time some sites had them for free, but I haven't been able to find many recently. sewusa.com has some older ones for free. but not many. you could try the kenmore site as well, if not I'd try to search on dogpile.com (sewing machine manuals)
Just so you know, your manual is the MOST important tool for any sewing machine, and its worth a couple of bucks to get it.

Depends on your make & model machine. Newer computerized machines require little or no oiling. Consult your owner's manual AND use only good quality sewing machine oil.

Usually, the top tension factory setting is the midway point between high & low numbers. However, every machine differs and changes over time. But that is a good starting point.

The needle will not pick up the thread from the bobbin on my Babylock Crown Jewel

Make sure you are using a brand new needle. A bent/damaged needle frequently will not connect with the bobbin thread.

If it still does not pick up the thread, the machine most likely has a needle/hook timing issue. There are multiple web sites and videos available that discuss sewing machine timing, or you can take it for service.

Why the thread cracked with when i sticked with the machine

Thread breakage could occur for several reasons.

First, try a brand new needle.

Second, use only good quality thread--NOT old thread or bargain bin varieties.

Third, when threading the upper thread, be sure to ALWAYS RAISE the presser foot throughout the threading process.

Verify that the thread path is correct (consult the owner's manual). Incorrect threading will usually break the thread.

Check that the upper thread tension is set at the midway point between the high & low numbers.

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. While threading the top part you’ll need to pull the thread back and forth in the top thread guide and check the tail in front is not curly. If still the issue persists, then it means that the machine has a bad thread sensor on it and needs to be replaced. In this case you can return the machine and get a new one instead to take the gain of the warrantee.

Please do rate the solution and revert for further assistance.

Thanks
