How would I go about getting a charger

Depend on what kind of batteries, and how often you are going to use the charger, and for what purpose are going to use it.

If your battery accidentally discharge far from your home a Jump Start is a must. But Car batteries are shallow Cycle and need to be fully charged. If you want to Set and Forget Charger, then a Smart Charger takes care on his one for the battery. Automatically adjust the voltage and turns off when the charge is completed. Has the Reconditioning option, can display the battery voltage, and can check the alternator. Destroying a $120 battery is more expensive than a Smart Charger.

I use a Vector Smart Battery Charger - 2/10/20 AMP 12V fully automatic.

Retail $49.95 I bought on sale CLEARANCE: $29.95

If you have cars not driven in daily bases, or go in vacation, a battery Tender is a good option too.

HOW TO HOOK UP A CTEK BATTERY CHARGER TO A 2007 MASERATI QUATTROPORTE SPORT GT

Wise decision my friend. Because with all the electronic stuff that's still running without the switch on, it can destroy a good battery after a while of non-use. A very, very slow drain. Just connect the hot wire directly to a lead directly to the battery and the ground to a bolt on the frame. Place the male end of the 110 cord where you can easily access it to plug it into the extension cord and wire tie it there. Mount the charger in an area where it can get air, under the hood on a fender well but out of the way. Because these new style chargers are "floating" chargers, it will shut down when battery is fully charged and restart with a 1% drop. Always remember to disconnect the extension cord from charger before starting the car. Otherwise you'll be replacing the charger. It's safe to hard wire the unit like this, no power goes back to the charger with the one way diode that's incorporated in the unit. Have fun with your toy.

Used wrong charger on tablet, why it won't come on

Hi if the charger used was too high in the voltage, it would probably destroy the tablet. Try charging with the correct one and see what happens.

I have a GE model 25836CE-B cordless phone. My problem is this: when the phone is off the charger base, after a few minutes it will keep on beeping even if no one pressed the paging button at the charger...

Actually, you can't overcharge the battery. The base is designed to hold the handset indefinitely. Once the battery is charged it doesn't do any damage. You probably just don't have the battery charged enough to use the phone. Leave the handset on the base overnight, let the thing charge, and it should work properly.

The headset will not charge from the base unit

It maybe that you need a new charger for your base. If your base is messed up there is no replacement for that. I know you can purchase other product for the base but not the base itself.

Here is a link to the Plantronics 510S Headset.

Good luck from Headsets Direct!

My Roomba will not charge, the light on the charger is on and when you plug in the roomba the light goes out and nothing happens. Can anyone help. It is a Discovery Model 4210

Are you using the home base or are you plugging the charger directly into the Roomba? If you are using the base, give plugging directly into the unit a try.

You might also try resetting the battery. With the battery out of the unit, press and hold the power button for 30 seconds or so. After this is done, plug the charger directly into the unit, and let it charge for 3 days (no kidding, 3 days). After that, if you still have issues, it might be time for a new battery, or time to send the little guy in for repair.

Garmin car charger

There are thee ways to charge the Garmin 750, 1: thru a car cord that plugs into the base that your unit mounts on. 2. Thru an AC charger. 3: thru the USB port on the Garmin unit itself. In your case the car cord plugs into the base that mounts your unit to the window. If that is not working, check that you are getting power from your car receptical. Check by plugging your Phone in or buying an adapter at Radio Shack that checks it. Also check the plug that goes into your car recepticle. Your manual tells how to check the fuse that is located in the end of the plug. If neither of these work your mount connection is bad. Hope this helps
