SOURCE: Changing VAT rate on Casio CE-3410

Hi.
This is an old rare UK model so i don't have the sequence for it. Do you have any manuals for it? I can help you to look up the correct settings if you have a manual. I may have some similar models but sometimes you can muck up other programming if you get it wrong.

SOURCE: Hello I have pb with casio

That is bad. The machine is trying to lose all of the programming. If you have turned them off for a period of a month or more, you have probably already lost everything. try this first:
Turn key to PROGRAM mode. Turn power off at wall. Hold RECEIPT FEED down - keep your finger on it. Turn power on at wall. Wait 5 seconds, then let go of RECEIPT FEED. You should see "FFFFFFFFFF" on display. Press SUBTOTAL.
Now turn key back to REG mode and see if you can make sales (you may need to sign a clerk on) If not, you have lost everything and will need to fully re-program them - best performed by a dealer unless you are familiar with file structure and system option settings.

SOURCE: how to take the vat number off the receipt on casio te 2000

Without a manual, you won't have the layout for entering text or the character codes to enter text manually. Someone may have left the text on the front of the buttons if you are lucky. Can you see the alphabet drawn on the front of each button?if not, You'll need a manual. There is one here:http://the-checkout-tech.com/manuals/cashregisters/Casio_TE-2000_users_and_programming_manual.html

I have a casio TE-100 and need to input customer and vat number at each transaction. is it possible?

The VAT number would normally be included in your receipt message so it shouldn't need to be entered each time. If by customer number you mean a number which increases by one per sale, use the consecutive number. It is like a receipt number. You can program it to reset each day if you like.If you need a manual for programming, one of our users has a TE-100 manual here:

I can't find any instructions in the operator's manuel on how to reprogram VAT from 17.5 to 20% on my casio CE4000. Can anyone provide easy instructions?

It depends upon a few things. Does your country use add on (tax added at the end) or add in (tax included in price). Which tax number is the machine using (1 to 4) for VAT?

I have never had to do this, but the settings for gross and net are usually in machine features settings, so go through the tables in your book and see if you can find a setting for it in machine features.

VAT is value added tax which is straight percentage. program tax one or two for the percentage and make sure your departments are set up taxable or non taxible. prgm 2 is vat probably and program 1 will be for dept. generally with casio.
