How to change needle on record player

The "needle" should be connected to the record player in a simple fashion, just inserted into a slot. First see if you can remove the existing "cartridge" (the entire part that includesd the needle) and then look online for a replacement that looks the same, or search according to the turntable model number. There are many different types of cartridges, so you need to know what to buy. Here is a link to show man of the possibilities: https://www.google.com/search?q=turntable+cartridges&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=aoHfVPXhN8PZoATI3YIY&ved=0CAkQ_AUoAg&biw=1920&bih=952

Search google with the model number of your turntable, and then the word "cartridge"

You'll have to either go to Target and have them check their records, or if you registered the TV, you can try and contact Westinghouse to see if they can help you. No one else would have a record of your serial number.

CANT RECORD TO DVD

No, this is only a VCR.DVD combo you only can record from the DVD to tape not vice versa! I have not seen a recorder on the market for end users that is a combo but I may be wrong on that but I do know this is just a reader on the DVD. Hence dual player!!!

No sound coming from turntable

most likely this is the switch that selects among cd/tape/radio/record player. it could be the preamp circuitry in the player as well. it would not be the cartridge UNLESS you cannot see a little rubber 'seat' up inside underneath the cartridge that pushes the stylus tip out and down towards the record just a bit. if this rubber 'yoke' (seat) is missing you will get no sound even when you touch the needle tip when the record player section is selected.
