Heyy... i can understand that it might not be getting pop out when you are scrolling over it... so its better you go to Program File > Windows Movie Maker > Import Media

By doing this it will start showing display of your cam. And if u still wanna use same thing which is getting hidden then try to find out it also in list of items shown after clicking : START > ALL PROGRAMS... surely you willl get that and will be able to use you webcam... rate this solution if it is really helpful to you

There should be a software program that came installed with your laptop. You just need to find it in the programs directory.

How can use a web cam with hotmail massenger

Click messenger top left, scroll down and click preferences then scroll down and click webcam where you can make adjustments, click o.k.. To make sure it is o.k. click messenger top left, scroll down and click my webcam. and your webcam should come on. Anytime a menu drops to show the webcam name click it. You should also run your call setup. Click actions top row of the messenger window scroll down click call setup and follow the prompts. When you are chatting with someone click on webcam in the chat window. I hope that is of some help. My own opinion is that if you are going to webcam regularly download windows live messenger.

First is a good sign that if you click the Icon form the webcam software, and you see your picture. This indicates that the webcam drivers were installed correctly.

You will need a software that support the webcam to be able to use it. You can Try Skype (http://www.skype.com/), or MSN Messenger (http://im.live.com/).

Those programs will detect your webcam and will enable video chat, that way you can use your cam to communicate with others.

Hope this helps..
