mine did that too it says no data but the songs are there but it wont show up in the mp3 :(

ensure that the "data" you put into is in the format that this sony walkman can play

Make sure the 2gb is really up to 2gb because sometimes they might just stretch it and say its 2gb. How to know is, if you put one or two songs it will accept and play but once its more... they start showing you format error....

You can use the Sony Media Manager to convert your videos. Make sure the mp4 files are: .mp4 video files that are Q VGA size (320x240) and conform to these
profiles: MPEG4-Simple P rofile, A VC Baseline P rofile v1.2, v1.3.

I had to convert mine to the same Quick Time format as ipod. see if this helps. There are different format types of mpeg4's

MP4 format doesnt work convert it to AVC or MPEG4 those work
