Short in a/c wires on contactor is bad, disconnect wires at a/c and power up if no pop fuse it is the contactor. if still pops replace wire.

If I remember correctly, there are dip switches on that control board that can be set individually. It is possible that it is just a setup issue. The switch positions should be explained in the installation instructions. I know that some Goodman and Amana two stage furnaces can be controlled by a single stage thermostat, but the dip switches have to be set properly. If the switches are set correctly the furnace will run in low stage heat for approximately 5 minutes and if the thermostat hasn't satisfied yet, it will kick in to high stage heat. I hope this points you in the right direction!

Goodman furnace model gmp125-4 constant fast blinking red light on circuit board, furnace dont work, have moisture in bottom from seeping drip pan under acoil

There should be a chart pasted to the inside of the front access panel of the furnace. It will tell us what that particular blinking sequence means. Goodman isn't listing a gmp125-4 furnace so I need to assume it is a condensing gas furnace. I water has backed up into the draft inducing fan, the furnace will shut down. There is no reason for water dripping from the drain pan unless your A/C is running and the drain on the pan is plugged. Give me all the info. you can and exactly what is happening. Please look up the coded problem for me. I'll watch for your reply. I hope this is not too late to help.

DO WE NEED TO REPLACE THE TRANSFORMER AND WIRES?\Our furnace just stopped working . Tried to check for blinking light code but the light will not even come on. We checkerd the transforme

You said you checked the fuses and all are working, does that include the fuse in the furnace circuit board? It is a plug style fuse, similiar to the ones used in the auto industry. If this fuse is good, do you have 24 v coming out of the transformer? It says you checked it, but not if it had voltage...

Another note is if there is no 24v, check the primary side to ensure that there is voltage coming into the furnace. You may have a loose wire in a junction box, not the most likely scenario, but it does happen.

Hope this helps

Goodman furnaces gxs91155dxaa will not start> steady red light on the circut. No inducer motor. Somthing strange when I disconnect the Roll Out sensor the blower motor runs along with the inducer...

I would first try to power up the inducer motor by itself. If this works without any issue than the next step is to look at the circuit board. You will need a multimeter. Set it to 120V AC and test the leads on the circuit board that the inducer motor attach to. Turn the system on and see if you get a reading on the meter, if so, then you know the motor is getting power. I would then check the legend of your furnace with the led pattern. You mention it is steady, look up what the steady light means. It may point to a control board error, in that case you will need to replace the board.

I have a goodman gms9 gas fired furnace that does nothig.no led light, fans or anything.there is power to the unit and was working when shut down for the summer.

Look on the circuit board for a small fuse. Replace if necessary. take a small piece of wire and with the door safety switch taped down, jump out R and W terminals on circuit board. Unit should power up. You can also jump out R and G terminals and room air blower should turn on. If nothing, replace circuit board.

Goodman GDS80904BNA LED Blinks 3 Times

had similar problems with same furnace. I think the 3 blinks is high limit event. either way with the power off to the furnace remove the board from the 4 clips holding it on one at a time then turn it over and look at it you will be able to tell if the board is bad because it will appear scortched and the resin will be bubbled up where it went bad. replace board and you will be fine. went through 2 in 2 years all of a sudden they are being made by a different company from the original and the 1st replacement. now all is fine. Take a good picture of the board close up so you can reconnect all the wires properly. Friend of mine got it from a wholesaler for $55.00

Goodman gmp075-3 led blinks 5 times

I Also have the same and other problems with my furnace model # GDS80703AXBB. First the LED kept blinking 4 times and I too jumped the primary limit, that didn't kelp. After several attemps I moved the wires going to the circut board and everything starting working again. After a week It stopped working again, so I pulled the plug out of the circut board checked all wires for for a bad connection plugged it back in. Now the LED blinks 6 times again I move the wires. Then the LED blinks 3 times. Then the transformer burns out. I have burned out 2 transformers and I have ordered a new circut board.

GOODMAN CMA80905CXBA FURNACE. INDUCTION BLOWER NOT ENERGIZING. GETTING 3 "BLINKS" FROM DIAGNOSTIC LIGHT (LOW PRESSURE SWITCH OPEN). THE A/C WORKS & THE BLOWER FAN COMES ON WHEN THE STAT IS IN...

the pressure switch is closed before the draft motor closes it.the board is telling you that this is not right.pull the wire(either) off of the pressure switch to see if furnace tries to light.if it does, you should replace the pressure switch.

Goodman Furnace m/n GKS90453BKAC

A constant red light (not blinking) indicates that the thermostat is not calling for heat. Of course you know it is but just to be safe, jump out R and W on the board. If it continues to do the same as you indicated, replace the board.
