Whirlpool Duet Washer does not stop the washing cycle on eco heavy duty. Never goes to spin cycle

Push any button except power or start for 5 times for 3-5 seconds count 1000,2000,3000. This will give you a fault code, then you can go online and check what the code means. Have been there before, it is more than likely a water level switch. It should have a part# on it. you can go to your local parts supplier to get the part. You can also take the 3 screws from back of machine then unplug all the wires on the CCU (one at a time) and plug tem back in. They have tabs on them that have to be released before pulling the plugs.

Dear shelldon39, Fri 2-20-2009 9:24pm EST (USA)

Some machines will shut down during the spin cycle as a precaution to prevent damage!

They will do this if you overload the washer with clothes and/or use too much detergent!

If this doesn't help please get back to me with more details!
