I change my browser to Safari last week. Today I tried printing a doc. I have saved in my doc. folder. My Epson cx7000f was printing a page in que the words are not in english for some reason. Stopped printing halfway so the paper was pulled out. Now printer starts up but the ink cartridge makes a banging sound, and printer gives me error. (printing error) I tried the suggestion to check the white plastice piece to the right of the printing compartment, but it is down and in place. Printer wont work. Help. Is there a software conflict with Safari causing this.
I uninstalled the printer software and reinstalled it. Same issue.

Re: Printer stopped working ;printer error
Sounds like you have a faulty printer. I use both Safari and Firefox without any problems [Epson CX9400Fax]. Call Epson and if your still under warranty they'll send you another one or pay for a repair. Do not pay the repair yourself as you can buy a printer with a 1 year warranty from Epson from their Clearance Center. BTW, I've been telling everyone to buy a CISS system as it saves tons of money on ink. http://www.inkproducts.com/ink-store/
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

If not, try to set up or add once more the printer to correct any printer driver corrupted files.
Or if not, uninstall and reinstall the pirnter driver and then, add once more the printer.

ok you might have tried printing a doc/app out earlier and it might have failed so while you trying to print out this present app/doc the printer still might be focused on that failed or it might be confused. Now to stop this follow these instructions. Go to the start bar click control panel. Then once that window pops up ( control panel ) click printers and other hardware. Then once that window pops up ( printers and other hardware ). Click Printers and faxes and that page will have all the printers and faxes ever installed to your computer. Now click on the printer thats yours and then a smaller wider window will appear you will that window will have all the doc/app you have ever tried printing out. the status bar will show what is going on with each doc/app. Now you should first stop all the doc/apps and refresh. To do this you should highlight all the doc/app and then go into the document tab ( there are several tabs in this window such as document , printer, view and help) then click cancel and cancel all the doc/apps. last step is to go into the view tab and click refresh and it should work :-). If not contact your printer manufactor.
