Any coffee brewer will bring water to a boil and expel the hot water over grounds or into a container. This water is sometimes under great steam pressure and is released by the user with a knob, handle, etc. These pressurised machines all make noises but should be within the normal operating range while using the machine. If it makes noise other than when in use then there may be an issue. Have a technician check for safety reasons as you are dealing with a 'steam BOILER' . For drip makers there should be no pressure other than the normal 'glug-glug' sounds while brewing. A commercial brewer will just have water sprinkling down into the basket and possible 'whine' noise as the tank refills. But if it's not your normal noise then have a tech check it out. ukeboy2@yahoo.com

When i turn on my delonghi magnifica pronto on its says insert brewing unit but its already in plus it makes a really loud noise when i turn it on

Sounds like the brewing unit, or infuser, has not been properly seated into its holder. Are you sure that the two red retainer fittings are in their snapped out positions? See page 16 of your owner's manual.
If the infuser has not been properly seated it could cause a loud noise when the servo drive tries to raise the unit into its brewing position.

Breville870xL loud noise when press brew buttons

The noise is caused by a (so-called 'magnetic' or sometimes 'three-way') solenoid valve's piston/plunger not seating properly or jamming when the solenoid is energized. This can be caused by too much gap between the plunger and the cylinder it's in, by roughness in the finish of the parts, or wear and tear - and indicates a faulty solenoid valve.

A bad solenoid isn't something that's repairable. It needs to replaced. There are two solenoid valve assemblies in that model, make you you get the correct one.

When brewing it makes a loud noise

I have 2 Cuisinart Coffee makers. Both make loud humming noises during the pump cycle. In my units, the water reservoir vibrates when the pump is active. Test by hand pressure on the water reservoir when brewing.
I experimented with adhesive foam pads and they worked well but...they eventually fell off. I often just push the unit against the wall behind it.

I can not release the main component in my Saesco de luxe. Here a loud clicking noise when machine is turned on.

Hi
The loud clicking noise is a broken brew drive. This usually happens when you use the pre-ground button but put more than the level scoop into the brew unit. The brew unit can't compress the coffee and jams the brew unit which breaks the drive gears. Drive gears have to be replaced. I have some drive units complete.

Bought a used Tassimo, is it supposed to make loud noise when brewing?

The water tank is probably not seated correctly. It can look as though it is, but you have to make sure the forward edge of it has been tilted so that the angled indentation in the plastic exactly mates with the machine. If it doesn't, water is not drawn from the tank, the pump makes a noise, and steam comes from the pod area.

New to expresso machine - Cuisinart EM100c

This is a very loud machine. Here's the normal operation: You turn it on, and wait a few minutes for it to heat up, at which point the heating light will go off. Then make sure the function knob is turned to coffee, and it will start brewing. At first, it will make a short (loud) sound and then stop for a second. The purpose behind this is that the machine is pre-wetting the coffee, so that steam can more easily shoot through it in a couple of seconds. Then the loud noise will start again and run continuously until you turn the function knob back to the center. So, the sounds you were hearing were normal. There is a delay between when you hear the sounds and the water starts flowing out. If the coffee is pressed down (tamped) too hard, that delay will be longer. Hope this helps. You made a much better choice purchasing this machine rather than the more expensive EM-200, in my opinion.
