SOURCE: Alpine CDE-102 w/usb port: will not

Hello desoren,

The receiver may not be set to recognize MP3 files.

Press and hold "sound setup" until the unit enters setup mode. Rotate the volume knob to "play mode" and press "enter". Check that the setting is CD/MP3 (not CD/MA), or rotate the volume knob to change the setting to CD/MP3 and press enter again. Press and hold "sound setup" again until the unit exits sound setup.

If the files are still not recognized, I'd try using a different USB drive, a different computer to write the MP3's, and/or a different application to download or rip the original music content.

Hope this helps.

Hi I have an Alpine CDE-125T and everytime I get back into the car I have to pair my phone with the radio again. Anyway I can fix this?

Sounds like the constant power memory wire (usually red or blue?) is connected to "switched" power incorrectly? Just a guess, but I have installed hundreds of radios...

Alpine cde-126bt bluetooth connection issues, only connects with 1 phone, second device fails at connecting when using pin.(0000). software ver is 3.80

Hi, same problem (v3.80), but finally conected. I would say that is related with bluetooth name length of the phone.
Try setting the phon's name to something smaller.
Jordi.
Conected with an android device, Motorola MB200 (DEXT)

What connection do i need to connect my cell phone (droid x) to my car stereo alpine CDE-9881

There is no physical connection to connect any cell phone to that receiver other than an Iphone. The only option you have is to buy an fm modulator that has a 3.5mm headphone plug and plug it in to your phone. Then start playing your media.

Can I hard wire an IPOD connection to a Alpine CDE 7856

There are 1/8"(headphone cable) to rca cables available at Radio Shack, Best Buy, Walmart, etc.... If you have an open pair of RCA's female connections coming out the rear of your deck plug your rca male to 1/8" male into that then into your IPOD.
