My Toshiba Satelite A355D wont connect by Wi-Fi anymore

Up until this morning, my Satelite A355D has worked just fine over Wi-Wi, but now, will not connect at all. The light on the side of the computer will not come on when I try to turn my wif fi on, even after a simple reboot, and after reinstalling the driver software.

Have no idea what else I can do to solve this.

My toshiba tablet wont connect to my wi-fi please help

1. Make sure that your wi-fi settings are turned on.
2. Scan for local wi-fi
3. Select your desired wi-fi and provide password if required.

Many times, the settings from the menu are not turned on, so the tablet will not try to link to a wi-fi site.

If you need more help, please provide the model number and the operating system currently being used on the tablet.

How do I connect my blu-Ray to my wi-fi?

The player does not come standard with a wi-fi adapter. It has Ethernet connectivity and can be attached to the network via a cable. You can purchase a wi-fi adapter for this model from Toshiba - the part number is WLM-12NB1. Here is the link to the website:

I tried to connect player to my wi-fi with the adapter that came with my wi-fi package. Player does not recognize it as being connected. Do I have to have a specific wi-fi adapter?

Hello

You must have a wifi adapter ready LCD tv,if you have got this and the player still does not recognize the adapter then i guess your adapter is faulty and you should have it replaced..

Your player uses WiFi adapter WLM-10UB1. Which is the same one that can be purchased on the TOSHIBA website http://toshibadirect.com . This adapter works in several of the Toshiba models.

The optional Toshiba WLM-10UB1 Wi-Fi adapter retail price is $49.99, mail order around $41. 2.

How to turn on wireless switch on a Toshiba 5205-S505?

First - Determine if your Toshiba Satellite has built-in Wi-Fi. Open the Start menu in the lower left corner of the desktop. Choose "Control Panel" and select "Performance and Maintenance." Click on the "System" icon and click on the "Hardware" tab in the System Properties window. Click on the "Device Manager" button. Click on the plus sign next to "Network adapters." Look for a device that has "Wireless" or "WLAN" in the name. If you see this device listed, then you have built-in wireless.

Next - Turn on the wireless by holding down the "Fn" key on the keyboard and then pressing "F8" at the top of the keyboard. Press this combination until the window indicates that Wi-Fi is on. Some Toshiba notebooks have a switch on the front left side of the laptop that will turn the Wi-Fi on. Many Toshiba Satellites have an LED indicator light on the right front edge of the notebook that will turn on when the Wi-Fi is on.

Finally - Click on the Start menu in the lower left corner of the desktop. Select "My Network Places" and click on "View network connections" in the menu on the left side of the window. Double click on the "Wireless Network Connection" icon. This will open a window that lists available wireless networks. Click on the name of the network you wish to connect to and click on the "Connect" button at the bottom. Type in the password if required and connect to to the network. Open a web browser to test the connection.
