Question about Gateway Zx6810 Ati Radeon Hd4650 M96xt 1gb Ddr3 Internal Video Board
I need to match is a ATI mobility radeon hd 4670 vg.m 9606.12 it is not avail anywhere. There are a number of similar cards out there but I am not sure they work on my Gateway zx6810. What I was hoping for was to find the spec's on the card that I have so I match them to a replacement card that would be avail. Thanks
With AIO and laptop models, they are only made to work with one type of video card per the MFG. Below is the only video cards supported on this model of gateway:
ATI Radeon HD 4570 with 512 MB DDR2 Memory
ATI Radeon HD 4670 with 1 GB DDR3 Memory
Without these you will not have any success.

just check what motherboard version your computer is running on and just advise the supplier to supply you with a graphics card that well fits for that motherboard.....

I don't think you can't do that without some major changes. The 500SE is a small format computer. The motherboard only has 2 PCI slots so you need to match that interface. NewEgg still sells the PCI video cards but I don't think they are HD
You need a more larger power supply. The current one is a 145 watt u-ATX Form Factor; you need at least 250 watts in that form factor (size)
A better choice might be a new motherboard. Look for board with a AMD Socket 7 if you want to keep this CPU. The motherboard will need to match the size of the current one to reuse the case. It's a uATX "like" form factor (7.4" x 9.35"). Also plan on a new power supply any AGP or PCI-e video card will want more than 350 watts (for the low end cards). Getting a new computer might be worthwile.
I hope this helps.

I had the exact same problem when I installed my Radeon 5670. I fixed it by going to device manager, video adapters, update driver (let it search the web and install). Worked fine after that. Good luck!
