Question about Dishwashers

Open Question

We have just moved into a new house where there is a whirlpool ADG 7470/1 dishwasher. We have never used a dishwasher before, but I have looked up the user manual online, and went to use it for the first time. The programme button seems to work fine, but there is no light on the start button. What does this mean? Thanks for any help

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Easy one first try this to see if it helps

Water pre-heating
Your dishwasher may pre-heat the water. If so, and if the water entering the dishwasher is cool, the heater may take up to half an hour to heat the water.

To avoid the wait, increase the incoming water temperature before turning on the dishwasher. Do that by running the kitchen sink faucet until the water runs hot. Or increase the temperature of the hot water to the entire house at the hot water heater.

Warning! To lessen the risk of scalding, don't set the hot water heater temperature higher than 120 degrees Fahrenheit.

Looking for answer to error code F5 on Whirlpool Dishwasher ADG 8200

Fault Code F5 or Five Flashes
Cause: Spray arms are blocked/clogged or otherwise malfunctioning.
Action: Spray arms are easily removed so take them out of the dishwasher and wash in the sink to clear out any gunk (using descaler should help shift any stubborn debris). Whilst doing this run the dishwasher on a short program without the spray arms to clear any further blockages.

I have a Whirlpool integrated dishwasher ADG 7560/1. Can you tell me if there are any points where it should be screwed to my kitchen unit sides or surface to stop it moving when I open the door. Thank...

There should be two metal tabs on top of the exterior cabinet that you use to screw the dishwasher to the underside of the kitchen counter top. The feet are also adjustable on most models so they are not only level, but also to make the unit fit better inside the access opening under the cabinet where it is installed.

Whirlpool dishwasher ADG 957. The manual says " Open the door and turn on the water tap". Where is the water tap and what does it look like?

They mean to turn on your water faucet at the kitchen sink and let the water get hot before starting the dishwasher cycle this insures you start the wash with hot water.

How do I take the intergrated door of a busted whirlpool ADG 7540

open the door and inside you will see some screws, some of these screws hold the dishwasher door together and some (about 4) hold the integrated kitchen unit door on, trial and error
