The storage drawer is off track (seems to have dropped down). It is not easily removed from the track and the manual does not show how to remove it. Any suggestions are appreciated.

In some cases I have had to pull the oven completely out and either access it from the back or lay the oven down on its back to see where the problem is at, but in most cases it is usually a simple fix once you can get to where the actual track is located.
Hope this helps. Make sure once it is back that you inspect the track and the wheels on the drawer t make sure no metal was bent, if it was and you cant bend back most local appliance suppliers have the parts you would need to repair it.

Hi! We made the nozzle assembly easily removable for the Max Extract Dual V. Follow these quick steps.

Remove both tanks from the cleaner.

Lay the cleaner on its back while in the upright position.

Lift up rear edge of nozzle. Slide nozzle up and remove from cleaner.

I have also attached a copy of the owner's manual which has pictures if you need it. http://hoover.com/file/1088/

Hybrid GP will not operate consistently

-

Hello Judy D.

As you might be aware the blinking LED indicates that a fault has been detected.

Check that the ionizing wires supports have not started to 'track' this will appear as a hair-like discolouration across the supports surface. The 'track' may be very thin and hard to spot.

This can be caused by dirt that has started to burn into the surface by arcing.

If you find any 'tracks' then try to clean them off with a mild solvent like pure alchohol.

Another thing to try is to run the unit in total darkness and look into the grills to see if there is any arcing or sparking happening.

Let us know the outcome.

How do I fix the noise?

let it dry completely, disassemble as you would for cleaning, and remove filter unit. Inspect to make sure no paper or other debris like a seal has been dislodged. If you can see fan blade, see if it will turn with filter removed. If it moves easily, reassemble carefully and make sure the contacts are oriented correctly and any charcoal filter is on place as well. Try unit.

If noise persists, the unit has to be opened up to inspect bearings of fan/motor and to locate and remove any debris. At that time a drop of light sewing machine oil or pellet gun oil to lubricate the bearings is a good idea.

I have two ecoquest breeze and they are both around four years old. One just quit working, meaning the fan will not turn, the lights are still on, the other one the lights are all lit up but I cannot...

For the fan:
1) Unplug the machine
2) Remove the front grid.
3) Firmly but carefully pull the fan blades off of the shaft, holding toward the center of the fan, not the blades.
4) Use a light household oil (3-in-1, sewing machine, hair clipper) and put a drop or two on the shaft while you turn it manually. Do this until you feel the shaft moving easily.
5) Leaving the front of the machine open, turn it on and see if the shaft turns. If it doesn't, unplug it again, and continue working small amounts of oil down the shaft and then seeing if it turns.
6) Replace the fan. Turn the machine on, and give the fan a spin if it doesn't turn on immediately.
That should do it for that machine!

The other machine may be set on "Sanitize." This means that it will run at top capacity for 2 hours. Push the "Sanitize" button to deactivate it, then adjust the controls for daily operation. If this doesn't solve the problem, the issue is most likely with the computer system itself, and we can't do anything about that! Unfortunately, Vollara (new name for EcoQuest) no longer services or sells the Breeze. However, there are some options for upgrades and/or trade-ins. Call Customer service (800-989-2299) for options. Use #16618 if you need a referral number.

I want to take my ecoquest fresh air apart to clean it, but do not know how, i have misplaced the manual

Unplug the machine and unscrew the phillips head screw on the back grill of the machine, that is just above the plug. There are depressions on the sides of the back grill that has a plastic tang that hold the back grill to the machine. Press the back grill inwards to allow the tangs to clear the sidee and the back grill should now be easily removed. Remove the two thumb screws on the top corners to remove the filter. Once the filter is removed, then you can remove the purification plate and remove the two screws that hold the RCI cell. The RCI cell and filter can be cleaned by vacumming out the dust and dirt.

The purification plate can be cleaned with a old toothbrush and a water and amonia solution. Scrub the metal grid with the toothbrush. Do both sides and then rinse with water, allow it to dry completely before reinstalling the plate. After every part is cleaned reassemble the purifier, and plug it in. Then press the reset reminder button on the front of the keypad to clear the "perform cleaning" message. This message will appear again after the purifier runs for 30 days to remind you to clean the purifier. Hope this helps you.

My Alpine Air 880 makes a sizzling noise. I turn the dial down and it gets better. Whats the problem?

The sizzling is the high voltage "bleeding" to ground inside of the collector module, or the high voltage electronic circuit.

First, unplug the unit and remove the module. Thoroughly clean all electrical contact points where the module makes connection. If it possible to operate the unit without the module in place, then replace all covers, plug the unit in, and attempt operation. If you continue to hear sizzling, then unplug the unit, remove covers, and continue to clean, digging deeper into the unit to find traces of accumulated dust/dirt. Also be on the lookout for burned areas in the plastic, around insulators, etc. High voltage is a mighty beast, and will easily track to ground, causing a sizzling noise.
If you don't find anything there, then take the modele and look for any tracking points on the insulators. Look very closely at the ionizer wires for accumulated lint, which creates little points where high voltage can bleed to ground from.
You may get popping of high voltage as well. When this happens, note the places where it occurs, and those places become suspect of causing the sizzling sounds.
Let me know what you find. These guys are cantanckerous at best.

Fan motor

Most likely a lubrication problem. These motors can easily become "gummed up" from use. I normally would remove the motor and hold it with the shaft vertical, I would then apply a few drops or 3in1 motor oil just above the bushing (bearing) and allow gravity to move the oil into the bushing while turning the motor by hand. I would flip the motor over and do the same to the other bushing. This motor should spin quite freely. Do not over oil. once the motor is spinning freely, wipe any excess oil from motor and reassemble and test.

Let me know what you find

Clean fan area

NOTE:It is easier to remove the motor when the upper housing is still sitting on top of the lower housing unit.
  1. Turn the power off by unplugging the unit.
  2. Next to the speed directions buttons there are thumb tabs. Press the thumb tabs so that they pop up and unlock the upper housing flaps. a tumb tab on
  3. The four flaps should then drop down like the peddles of a flower.
  4. Grab the center of the motor and lift straight up, be careful when pulling the power chord.
  5. The motor, fan and gear assembly should not be seperated from the rest of the unit.
This will let you clean with vinegar and water.

Great product. Germany design at its best
