Karcher k3.00 lack of power

Are you using the same water supply as before when you had good pressure? Some house water lines have pressure reducers to protect your pipes and appliances. This can restrict the water flow and reduce the pressure the machine develops. If the flow surges (good, then weak, then good etc) you are not getting enough water to the pump. Try a larger diameter garden hose (5/8"). If you know where your water line enters the house, try the hose bib closest to it. Often times it is at street pressure instead of (reduced) house pressure.

Water leak where the gun hose connects to the washer causing very low pressure 2200 psi model 020245

Simple fix, just disconnect house end from washer, buy a new rubber washer o ring, like what is used for garden hoses. Put back on make sure it is tight. If still leaks, then need to replace connection end fitting on preside washer, can get those at almost any hardware store, use plumbers tape on threads when putting new fitting on machine, then connect house and back to those honey do list :)

Egine runs but there is no water pressure.

with engine off, pour liquid TSP into the water inlet port (where the fresh water hose connects)
Let this sit in the pump for at least two days.
Then connect the garden hose to the inlet and let run for a couple of minutes without the power washer wand attached.
This is how I fixed mine.

The pressure washer motor is running and water is flowing through but there is little to no pressure on the water coming out

pour liquid TSP into the fresh water port (where the garden hose connects) and let it sit there for a couple of days.
This will clean all the calcium and lime deposits within the pump.
This is how I fixed my pressure problem.Hope it works for you.

No pressure HOSE IS BIG ENOUGH,NO KINKS, FILTER IS CLEAN. TOOK THE PUMP APART AND CHECKED ALL THE CHECKS, THEY WERE ALL OK.WHAT ELSE CAN I LOOK FOR? THE PUMP IS A KARCHER-MODEL G 1800 LB Thanks, Art

Brother Art,

Try this trick; it always works for me. Assemble the garden hose to the washer, install the HP hose, turn on the water. Now, make sure that there is no air trapped in the garden hose. Manipulate so as to direct any air trapped in the line to the washer. Connect the gun and continue to allow water to "free flow" for several minutes. Now, work the trigger, allowing the unit to rise to "house pressure, and then pull the trigger, dropping the pressure suddenly. This displaces any air hidden in the system. Do this several times, and start the washer up. If this doesn't get you up to pressure, repeat the above on an abbreviated scale, and hold the trigger on the gun down while you start the washer. This should do it.

Husky power washer no presure?

Found an easy solution to my problem. Was dumping pressure out the bottom when I pushed the trigger. Turned out the line my hose reeler that my hose was running off of was kinked. Only partial pressure was going from the house hose to the pressure washer. I attached my house directly into the house, bypassing the hose reeler, and it worked fine. Apparently, you need a certain amount of pressure going into the washer for it to work.

Electric or Gas?

Pressure washers are either electric or gasoline powered. Electric pressure washers are low maintenance and quiet. These generally are for light duty. They are handy where you need to work on small confined area, however you need to run power to them and have a pressurized water source. Also the National Electrical Code and Underwriters Laboratories now require ground fault circuit interrupters (GFCIs) be use when operating an electric pressure washer. Gas models are recommended for tasks that require more power, such as paint prep, heavy vehicle cleaning, or cleaning heavily soiled concrete.. Gas models start with PSI of 1750 and go as high as 4000. They also offer more portability, as they are not limited by electric cords. Also some gas models can draw water from a source other than the garden hose, which allows you to work away from a water line. All gas models have 4-cycle engines and run on regular unleaded gas.

I squeeze the trigger, I have pressure for 2-3 seconds and the engine dies.

your pump is probably cavatating. when you first hook it up and turn hose on open thr trigger and let water run thru until it quits spitting and flows smooth. then crank it up and see if this gets it done. if not you could have a problem with the pressure valve bolted on the outside of pump. there should be a nut shaped stem to adjust pressure . turn it in and see what happens.
