It appears you are having problems with networking on your SONY VIAO laptop. Are you able to see the list of network adapters in your control panel? If so have you tried disabling and re-enabling them? You may also want to look at trying to update your device drivers if that still doesn't work. Finally if none of the above work, double check that your internet is working on some other device in the home. You can open your command prompt in windows by going to Start>Run and type cmd. There you can type ipconfig /all and see if your network adapter is actually getting an IP address from your router. If so then try the command: ping www.google.com and see if you are getting a response. Another thing you can try is to use the windows troubleshooter and see if it can detect what the problem might be.
