The thread gets caught up in bobbin area

This mess is commonly referred to as a bird's nest or 'birdnesting' and it's usually caused by incorrect top tension and that's often caused by the top thread not in the correct path. (For me, I occasionally forget to thread through the take-up lever.) A damaged needle can also cause birdnesting.

I can't freely remove my work from the bed after sewing.

I know this sounds wrong, but I am very sure you are not threading it correctly. If the sewing is loopy on the underneath, it is not properly threaded on the top of the machine or not properly caught into the tension discs at the front/on the top. If the stitching is loopy on the totop, then the problem is underneath in the bobbin area. Sort of back the front-upside down.If you are sure you have threaded it correctly, then-1) Put the foot down to sew 2) turn the balance wheel to place the needle into the fabric 3) hold the threads to the back or side 4) start sewing. Because you are holding the threads, this stops them from being able to get caught up underneath. It will still happen if the machine is incorrectly threaded. If all this fails, what area do you live in??? Good luck, sewing is wonderful :)

Top tension has to be turned all the way down to get good stitch, then thread gets caught in bobbin and lower hooping on thread..

Grab some scrap fabric of the same type you'll be sewing. Tighten your top tension and test sew until you see until you see the top thread of a seam go like a straight line and the bobbin thread loops on top of the seam. Then back off of the top tension until those loops disappear.

If you never see it the top thread go like a straight line... your top tension needs to be cleaned... and make sure you have the pressure foot UP when you thread the upper thread.

Euro pro 9130 Bobbin holder jumps out of place when sewing, then the machine locks up, tweets and stops sewing. I have ordered a new bobbin holder and that did not help.

check the upper thread tension
make sure all the thread guides all used- & that the thread is not hanging up some where on the machine
check the top thread tension dial to see if there is any thread caught in it
change the top & bobbin thread- make sure the thread is not knoty or old

The top thread on my Janome 300E is getting caught in the bobbin. It starts bunching up on the back of the fabric that I am trying to embroider and it gets stuck. When I pull it off all the top thread is...

If your thread is getting caught underneath it's usually the UPPER thread is threaded wrong or not correctly through the tension discs. This can also happen if you're using Sticky Back stabilizer. Make sure you have a new needle in case there's a burr on the old one which can also cause this problem.

Machine is noisy; top thread breaks, even though needle has been changed out (it seems the thread gets caught on something inside the top)

check to make sure the thread is not winding around the spool pin
also check & see if it's getting caught on the notch on the thread spool
the thread could be coming of the thread take up lever

My top thread gets caught in the bobbin. When I

Hello,
Here are a couple of solutions to try.

* Try re-threading your machine. It may be threaded wrong.

* Raise your feed dogs
If your machine has this feature.

* When you start to sew a seam, hold the upper and bobbin thread tails back and out of the way as you sew your first couple of stitches. This will prevent them from getting caught in your machine.

I hope this helps.

Is there thread caught in the bobbin case? How far are you turning the wheel and are you holding the end of your bobbin thread out so that the top thread can hook it?

Blue red green yellow threading order is very important. Pull all threads from eye of the needles and both lower loopers and thread in that order.
