WHY IS MY LG GAS DRYER NOT ADVANCING TO COOL DOWN CYCLE?

If its a newer dryer, they have moisture sensors that determine if it should shut down early or stay on longer if needed. Let it run the extra time and see what happens. If it keeps doing it, then the sensor is defective.

Model number KUDS30IVBL0. When in the normal wash cycle the machine will go through the first wash cycle then drains. But the pump keeps running even after all the water has drained from the unit.

if you just let it go will pump shut off by itself after a few more minutes ?? or do you have to intervene as it will go that way all day long ?

Auto cycle does not work timed cycle works fine

In some dryer's the control panel relies on a thermistor rather than a CYCLING thermostat to regulate the drum's air temperature by monitoring the component's resistance changes; resistance goes down as temperature increases and up when temperature decreases. Once the drum's air temperature reaches a certain level required to dry clothes, the control panel shuts off the heater. The panel will turn the heater on again and begin another heating cycle when the thermistor indicates that more heat is needed to keep the air temperature constant inside the drum

Lastly check your moister sensor. ( located inside the dryer door usually) Especially if machine seems to shut down early and clothes are still wet.
Test with a meter at room temperature and it should show continuity.
A failed moisture sensor will affect the dryer run time in the automatic moisture sensing cycle but it will not affect the heating of the dryer or the timed cycle. Which are reflected by the thermostats.

Even though the times are all set correctly, and it is on AUTO mode, the timer automatically turns itself to OFF after one cycle. So say i have the timer set from 1-1:15 and from 2-2:15, it always goes...

look at your manual, and then add a comment with brand and model number of timer.
or
Describe timer in detail and I will find a manual that matches your product and read it alongside you.

I test timers, some arrive defective, some go bad after a few months, most have 1 year limited warranty. Some timers suggest resetting timer when problems occur. Some timers have reset button, other timers have to be unplugged, other timers require you to hold on-off button while pushing reset button.

Please see that the Auto Timer is corrected . Remove the power off the TV and keep aside so that it will reset. Now check for the timer set up. You can correct this settings by checking with the menu - timer settings.

Cuisinart DCC-1000 shuts off on it's own

Unplug it for 20 minutes or longer to fully reset it. At that point, the default shut-off time will be two hours, unlss you use the auto-off to increase this time limit to 3 or 4 hours.

Coffee maker shuts off too quickly

It seems this coffeemaker insists on shutting itself off after 4 hours,
or whatever "auto-off" time you've programmed in. The only work-around I've found is to switch it to "Brew" and cycle the power switch off and on every time you pour a cup. That will start a new
4-hour timer cycle. Since the pot's still hot, it will go quickly to the
"brewing done" state and render 5 beeps.
