Question about Refrigerators
Leaksoil when running
From where does it leak the oil? Many compressors have oilers to keep lines lubed, so on and so forth... Have you drained the tank recently? If its leaking from the compression head assembly? what ever you do dont let that run dry or it will seize and then you have trash.

Was the bulb blown that you removed?
If not, it may be the contact switch on the door. These usually are just a press fit, sometimes needing a screwdriver in a slot to release it.
Hope this helps you. If it does, Please take a moment to rate your problem fixed with Fixya! Thanks.

SOURCE: When compressor tries to turn
The loud click is probably the compressor starter/overload relay which may be bad. If it rattles it's bad. It should show continuity on an ohm meter. If it's not bad then there is a problem with the compressor and requires a qualified tech to service.
