SOURCE: wireless connection
that unit has a driver problem, for the usb or ethernet, you might be able to re-install the specific drivers on their web site, and retry it there, unless the wireless in pci based and the you have a driver problem there, if you can use the ethernet connection then it's usb or pcmci, try that, if that doesn't work you need a tech to look at it.
hope this helps you out, let me know

Do you also have a Function Key combination for turning on the wireless? Look for an aerial symbol on one of the Fx keys in a different colour?
e.g. on some laptops you need to press the Fn key and the F2 key at the same time to turn wireless on and off. On your laptop it may be a different key?
Also, check system tray in bottom right for a wireless enable/disable icon.
Also look in Control Panel for a wireless utility.
Did you try reading the manual about how to enable wireless?

if it flashes orange it is trying to connect and detect the internet, if you are connected to your wireless router but no internet check the security keys on the router and the laptop if they are the same, I guess you get the error limited connectivity, and if possible check for programs that could cause your wireless to not get the internet but get connected to the router, check for network magic uninstall the program from your system restart the computer try connecting again.
worst case that can happen is you can try uninstalling the wireless drivers and reinstalling it if the wireless devices gets an error during installation of the driver then you will need to replace your wireless card in your laptop, orange flashing in router meaning it does not detect internet from the modem ^_^

I suggest you do not consider a dial up connection because it is very slow.
