Assuming it goes black after using the tv for a few minutes its probably a bad capacitor on the power board inside the Tv but there are a few other things that can cause this but not enough information to determine

    I did a reset yesterday by unplugging the TV for 1 hour and pressing the power button for a minute. The TV was good for over 6 hours when we turned it off last night. This morning it was OK for about an hour and then the screen went black with sound. I have not taken the TV down yet for any diagnostics. I do have a multimeter.
