Question about Optoma HD65 DLP Projector
My projector's bulb blew out with a loud pop while the unit was shutting down. After that, the unit wouldn't power on - according to the user guide, this is a safety precaution until the lamp is replaced.
I've since replaced the lamp but the unit still won't power on (even the red stand-by LED doesn't turn on). I've read several posts talking about the lamp cover switch not activating properly (mostly for the HD70) but I can clearly hear the clicking sound when I manually activate it and when I put the cover back on.
I'd like to avoid sending it in to Optoma for servicing... Any suggestions?
I was blowin air in the back vent and i heard popin sounds and now i have no power

Possible cause is overheating.
Do you hear the fan working?
What happens when you use the lowest level light output?
Does it run longer?
Also possible cause is a faulty temp sensor.
AC wire connection may not be firmly pressed in socket.
