I am not sure of that particular model but most do not store milk... You use the steam generator to steam through the milk, held in a separate container. Since you are new at this, get into the habit of cleaning it regularly as without cleaning everything can clog. When you buy coffee start out with a "dark roast" and build your way to an espresso blend, usually the darker the coffee the oilier the bean and hence cleaning gets more important. If you grind the coffee beans yourself use the finest grind available. And enjoy the coffee!

DeLonghi is structurally identical to Krups. If you can't get anything from DeLonghi, you could try doing a google search for Krups parts and contact a customer service person at one of their parts suppliers.
