How do you remoe the front panel of this MD3500 Gas Dryer?

most likley there is screws on the bottoms and or there are screws on the top back and the lid slides out then you will have to remoe the panel and then the door

Ok, this dryer actually does have a front service panel, the entire front to be precise.
You will need to remove your lint screen first.

Now remove the two phillips head screws located at the lint screen inlet.

Next while standing in front of the dryer place a hand on the back of the control panel and pull the panel towards you. The entire top of the dryer should slide forward slightly and as it does use your fingertips to lift the top on the side you are pulling on at the front of the top where it meets the front panel. Now switch to the other side and repeat this until the entire front edge of the top is loose from the front panel.

Now lift the front of the top up and allow it to swing up like the hood on a car, let it lean against the wall.

Inside the front of the dryer you will see two screws that hold the top of the front panel to the sides of the unit. Remove these two screws and allow the top of the front panel to come forward slightly so that the felt support for the front of the drum is exposed on the top of the door opening. You may have to push the top of the drum towards the rear of the dryer.

Now pull up on first one side of the front panel and then the other side to disengage the lower portion of the front from the clips on the face of the side panels (they are like little hooks the front panel slips onto).

Once the front panel is loose you can usually swing it 90 degrees out to provide the access you need to your gas valve located in the bottom of the dryer (without disconnecting the door switch.

The drum should remain stationary as it will suspend on the two rear drum rollers while you work.

The gas valve coils are held to the gas valve by one steel cover plate that has two phillips head screws holding it to the valve.

Remove cover plate and wire connections, replace coils and reverse these instructions for re-assembly.

The igniter can be accessed for replacement through the front of the dryer by removing the front panel. Once the front panel is removed, unplug the igniter from the gas valve assembly then remove the screws securing it to the burner assembly. Secure the new igniter in place then plug it to the gas valve assembly. Disconnect power to the dryer prior to servicing to avoid the risk of electric shock. Take extra care in handling the igniter to avoid breaking it into pieces due to its fragility.

The front panel can be removed by removing the four screws located vertically along the inside lip of the door opening. These screws hold the front panel to the front shroud assembly.

Once the four screws are removed, grasp and press in on the upper edges of the front panel posts then twist it inward to release the clips holding it to the cabinet. Tilt the top of the front panel and move it away from the dryer. Follow these steps in reverse order when reinstalling the front panel.

Removal of the front panel requires the removal of the top cover and the console. Disconnect power to the dryer prior to servicing to avoid the risk of electric shock.

Remove the 2 screws attaching the top cover to the rear of the dryer then slide it rearward to clear the screw head from the top cover flange and lift the cover off the dryer cabinet.

Remove the screws securing the heater PCB board and disconnect the black and white wiring harness connectors from the board.

Remove the four screws attaching the console to the washer cabinet and rotate the console down to remove it from the dryer.

Remove the four screws attaching the top of the front panel to the cabinet and the two screws at the bottom of the door opening.

Pull the front panel forward and disconnect the interior light wiring harness then lift the front panel off the tabs across the bottom and move it away from the dryer.

Reinstall the front panel, the console, and the top cover in reverse of the removal steps.

Disconnect power before working on this dryer.

Place putty knife in the seam between the top and front panel about 2” in from either side. Push in on clip while pulling control panel forward and tilting putty knife handle up, all at the same time. Same on opposite side. Raise top all the way.

Looking down inside dryer on left and right see a screw about 6 inches down. Remove each side while holding front panel in place. Pull top of front panel about 3 inches forward from sides and then pull up. This will disengage the front panel from lower pressure clips and allow you to turn it sideways and expose the dryer interior.

Reverse the process above to reassemble.

Service on gas appliances should be undertaken by professionals only due to the danger of gas leakage which can cause fires or death by asphyxiation.

If you have the rear control dryer you posted under:
1. Unplug power to dryer.
2. remove two phillips head screws behind door, just in front of lint filter.
3. Use putty knife to push in dryer top release clips at seam with dryer front, about a inch in from each side.
4. Swing top up and remove two phillips screws holding front onto frame at very top of front panel.
5. pull front panel forward a bit and remove plug to drum light and door switch.
6. lift front panel off dryer.
7. Turn off gas shut off and remove burner / valve assembly.
8. Replace orifice and change out brass pressure regulator screw.
9. reassemble and test.

If this is an electric dryer, it doesn't have a pilot either. If this is a gas dryer it will have an electric pilot. but then if it were a gas dryer, it would have a removable lower front panel for servicing the burner. So you must have an electric dryer. if the dryer runs but does not heat, the electric element is most likely at fault. If you really were looking for a pilot light on an electric dryer, I must recommend that you call a reputable appliance service regarding repairs so as to not jeopardize your safety.

FIRST UNPLUG UNIT!!
Remove 2 screws by filter area on main top.
Grab back of dryer and pull top forward while holding dryer in place with knees. Do this to pop up top on front left then front right. Remove 2 screws holding front panel 2 side panels. They are at top front of side panels, inside.
Pull front panel out at top and pull up to remove front panel. Put belt around drum with grooved side toward drum.
