Question about Compaq Presario 5000 PC Desktop
My Compaq Desktop was working great yesterday. I shut it down normally and when I went to boot up next it wont. Now when ever I unplug the PC and plug it back in the automatically turns on without pushing the on button?
You should check your power supply. Could be the capacitor is already bloated or component is failing or dirty. Or check the regulator side of your motherboard for bloated capacitor, this can be easily seen because it is almost clustered in almost one place.
If this doesn't help this can be a problem is bios. Sometimes it is a corruption is bios.
Just for the input.
