go to tools menu in the menu bar in internet explorer, then go to internet options. Set your home page as you like in the internet options box.

Alternatively locate internet options inside control panel, it will open same box.

What you can do is navigate to toshiba website. www.toshiba.com for example. There's a little icon just to the left of it. Drag and drop to the house icon on the toolbar and let go. A window will pop up and ask if you want www.toshiba.com to be your new homepage. Say "YES" Boom your done. close out the browser and open it again. You should be goign to www.toshiba.com every time.

How do I enlarge the text size on Windows 8

A simple method is to use "ctrl +" to increase font size. "ctrl -" reduces font size, and "ctrl 0" takes you back to your default. If you want to change your default, right click your home page, click "Personalize" on the drop down menu, select "Display", the "Adjust Resolution".

How do I reduce scan file size when the resolution is already 200 dpi?

An 8.5 inch wide document scanned at 200 dpi gives you an image that is 1700 pixels wide. This is almost enough to fill a fullHD TV screen at native resolution (1920 pixels wide) which is unnecessary detail. I would use any picture editing programme (many free ones available) to reduce the overall pixel width of your already scanned images by 50 percent. This will automatically reduce the 1MB image to 250k. If you can scan again, use 100 dpi to scan - the result is same; image will be half as wide (and long), and picture file size one quarter of the 200 dpi scan.

The screen resolution on your laptop may be set too high for the data projector. Try reducing the laptop's screen resolution down to 1024 X 768.

MY RICOH 2020D PRINTER, IS VERY SLOW AND IT DOES NOT SCANNED AT 20PPM, PLUS THE FAX MEMORY ONLY HOLDS UP 40 PAGES, WHAT CAN I DO?

You must have your resolutions set much higher than the default.
Scanner: Go to "user tools", "Scanner features", "scan Settings", "default Scan settings", "resolution".....set to 200dpi

Fax: Resolution may be set to "detail" or "fine" by default , rather than "Standard" ...is either light lit?
This would dramatically reduce memory capacity.
To set this to default standard resolution is a needlessly difficult task. You can either manually turn it off when sending a fax or change the default "user parameter settings" for the "home position". You can find instructions in the Fax manual (Advanced settings). Download here:

http://www.ricoh-usa.com/downloads/downloads.asp?tsn=Ricoh-USA&path=http://support.ricoh.com/bb_v1oi/html/oi/rc2/model/x2016_20/x2016_20en.htm

How to set parameters and understand them (sort of ) is on page 80
How to set home position is on page 86

Right click anywhere on your desktop, click Properties, and choose the Settings Tab. In the middle of the screen you will see Screen Resolution. Choose a resolution with a higher number than you are currently using. Let me know if this doesn't help.
