Sometimes when you loose freon the power is cut off from your compressor to keep from damaging it.

One thing would be check your fuse but I'm sure you have checked that already.

No power to yukon xl compressor

Could have lost freon charge, or a faulty pressure switch or other electrical problem.
A mechanic would check for system charge and power at the compressor clutch.

99 yukon cuts out on the highway when accelerating but continues to run. replaced fuel pump and problem dramaticaly improved but still occures

Did you also replace the fuel filter when you replaced the fuel pump? A partially clogged filter will make the engine 'bog down' and lose power under heavy acceleration.
