The windows activation number should be on a label on your computer. For laptops I have seen the labels under the battery. If you don't see a Windows label then you may have a pirated copy installed and there isn't a way to do it. Take it back to where you purchased it.

This information would have been provided with box and case that the software was purchased in. You should see something to the equivilent of certification code.
