SOURCE: Element LCD tv with no power. I replaced fuse,

You probably need a new power source. Take it to you repair shop. That's what I had to do and it was relatively inexpensive.

I have a 46" Flat Screen TV. Model Number

First thing you do is to check the outlet if there is a power output the check the power cord and plug.If there 's a power in the power cord,Check the fuse of your television. The fuse is located at the power supply. You can see the power supply when you open the back cover of your television at the upper right side.Replace the fuse if busted with the same value of fuse. That's the step you can do first..Thanks..

good day sir
the problem of your TV is on the power supply
I teach you some and troubleshooting for your problem
I give it to you step by step
first remove the cover of your TV by unscrew it at the back
secondly after that the power supply reveal it is the one that have a ac input from your ac cord or supply
thirdly, check your fuse if busted, replace fuse if busted and also check the regulator transistor if shorted then replace also
after that, also looking for bulging top capacitor/leak replace it in same type and rating voltage/microfarad
and finally after same troubleshooting..test it by power it on again

thank you

No picture when powering on tv want to fix myself

If you don't see any lights on the panel, It could be a busted fuse. But usually based on my experience in fixing TV's (whether CRT or LCD) if the fuse was indeed busted, It only means that there's a short circuit somewhere along the circuitry. It may be a shorted power regulator (which is usually the case) or an open diode or resistor.

But try plugging the cord to another wall socket first or replacing the power cord (if possible). If none of them work, don't try to open and fix it yourself. Even with the power cord unplugged, you can still get a shock which might lead to a more serious injury.

Bottomline, Don't try it to fix it If you don't even know how to pronounce the word "diode"

(Remember that electricity is invicible. And what you can't see, can kill you)

2. Check for a busted fuse/or tripped off circuit
breaker at the main power panel pf your house.
3. Check for the busted fuse inside the case of your

cable of your TV is connected.
4. When you are done, plug back your cord to the
power outlet, and put the power on.

Power on TV went out and it will come back on.

Check for busted fuse inside your TV, so you can switch it back on. So, open it up. Follow the power cord going inside your TV. The fuse is just near to it. Have it replaced, and have it carefully clean free from dust using 1/2 inch paint brush. Put the case back close, and plug it back to your outlet. Switch it on. Hope this
help you, and thank you for casting your vote.
