LG washing machine will not spin just makes a click sound an buzzes? any help?

any error codes, make and model no. would help.
some swear that unplugging and waiting a moment and plugging back in will reset. some say, doing same and holding in start button while unplugged for 10 seconds will reset. not sure about those, but pretty easy to try.

LG code for motor overload-- I am in the repair service and need more instructions on a LG wm2277H

Unplug remove the back. Loosen large bolt in center of rotor. Slide rotor off of spline. Look at the stator with the windings. At the bottom of the stator where the harness plugs in is the hall sensor. Remove the 10 mm bolts holding the stator on and don't let it drop. Un plug the plug and snap the hall sensor off and snap the new one on. Re assemble.

Is there a reset button on the LG front load washer

No button, but LG customer service says unplugging the unit for 1 hour and then holding the power button while turning it on will reset the computer.

In my experience this does work, but I don't think it resets absolutely everything.

Another time I had a problem LG customer service told me to unplug the unit, hold the power button for 60 seconds and then plug it back in. I can't confirm if this works or not, but it is worth a try first (60 seconds is a lot shorter than 60 minutes...).

On your main control board make sure all the plug in wire connectors are making a positive grab on the control board and also the un balanced sensor
