The sweep tail doesnt sweep

Make sure the opening at the end of the sweep hose is not blocked by the sweep hose scrubber. You might also need to adjust the screw that holds the sweep hose in place. If it is too tight it will not have the slack to move. If it is too loose, it will not have enough tension to move. Try adjusting it and it should have the pool cleaners sweep hose motion.

There are a few things to check with these pool cleaners. Make sure the opening at the end of the sweep hose is not blocked by the sweep hose scrubber. If you have any sweep hose weights, you might need to remove or adjust them.

My polaris hose keeps getting tangle.

If you have stored your automatic pool cleaner with the hose coiled, this is probably what is causing the problem. Lay the hose out flat and stretch it slightly. Let it sit in the sun for several hours and it should help to straighten in. You should also not store your cleaner with the hose coiled. If you are talking about your sweep hose getting tangled, you might need to adjust it, lower your RPM, or add sweep hose weights.

No My polaris hose keeps getting tangled up, how do I fix it.

Remeasure the pool cleaners hose to verify that it is adjusted to the proper length for the pool shape. With the Polaris operating, check that the swivels in the hose and the hose connections turn freely. Make sure feed hose is floating. With the Polaris turned off, spin each of the wheels. All wheels should turn together.

If the hose on these pool cleaners is becoming tangled, there are a couple things you will want to check. Remeasure the hose to verify that it is adjusted to the proper length for your pool shape. With the cleaner operating, check that the swivels in the hose and the hose connections turn freely. Make sure the feed hose if floating. Then, with the Polaris turned off, spin each of the wheels. Make sure they are all turning together and adjust if they are not.

Pool sweep wheels are not turning

Problems with the sweep hose on these pools cleaners usually just means that you need to do some fine tuning. Start by trying to adjust the sweep hose adjustment screw. To adjust, turn off the booster pump and turn the screw clockwise to decrease motion and counterclockwise to increase. You might also need to replace one or both of your swivel ball bearings (part #D20).

280 sweep hose does not sweep-drags behind unit-unit works fine-cleans pool

Make sure that the opening at the end of your pool cleaners sweep hose is not blocked by the sweep hose scrubber. If this does not work, you will need to adjust the sweep hose screw as mentioned above. The only thing that I would add about that is to make sure that you turn your booster pump off before you make adjustments. Hope this helps! I have a copy of the users manual for this model. Let me know if you need it and I can give it to you.

Cleaner goes in cicrles and the hose gets all tangled up.

make sure the bearings are installed properly, there is a groove where the bearing sits and the bearing should have a spline that will match up with the groove in the turbine and housing. Also, check that the bearings on the a-frame spin freely and all the bearings are in place. Also check that the right and left pods are tightened sufficiently.
