If you are using a vista: go to start button at the buttom left of you computer then go to control panel after then click the classic view on the left side of the screen then look for the programs and features after that look for the realtek high defenition audio driver it includes the software of the mic try un-installing it. but make sure that you have your CD-install for your laptop then open your cd-drive and put the cd-installer then look for the realtek high defenition audio driver and install in after that reboot your laptop to complete the installation...hope it helped. for more concerns send me a message....

When I talk, my friends complain of a high pitched buzzing. I'm using the Turtle Beach X11 via a wired controller on the Xbox 360.

Same issue here. Can hear the high pitch buzz, and friends complain about it.

I have 2 Turtle Beach X11 headsets, and 3 Xboxes (std, Elite, slim)

Unplug the mic, and no high pitch buzz. Plug it back in, and its back.

Tried all 3 boxes experience same issues

Playing with volume and mic settings doesn't make a difference.

Would love to have a fix for this :-)

My radio recieves ok but only whistles when i key the mike is this a major fix?

Do you have talkback installed? It my be too loud and causing feed back. Back the mic gain down if so.

Could also be improper mic wiring. If you use a mic that is wired for a different radio, it could just cause a hum, buzz or squeal.

Another thing that can cause a hum, buzz or squeal is a faulty volume and or squelch knob depending on the radio.

  • Turn down or disable talk back.
  • If you cannot turn off or disable talk back, lower mic gain.
  • Try a different mic that you know is wired for cobra.
  • Play with volume and squelch knobs while TX and see if it stops at all. If it does replace knob.

Buzzing noise while making a call

This happens at many phones due to the speaker which buzzes because of the waves made by the conversation. For example try calling someone and be near a desktop pc speaker or radio and you'll hear the same buzzing noise

Constant Buzzing sound when TV is on

The wiring may have fallen back onto the fan or that may never have been the problem at all. A common problem for DLP TVs is the color wheel motor. It will hum and change pitch especially as you power the TV on or off. Its an expensive repair in this TV because Toshiba does not sell it independently from the larger, more expensive light engine assembly. Don't allow this to fall out of warranty! Call the extended warranty company and tell them that the repair was not effective and that you want this resolved promptly before the warranty expires.

Buzzing

I would think that your mic part is shot or you need to adjust the volume of your mic. Go to Start---->Control Panel---->Sounds And Devices---->Volume----->Advanced now adjust your input mic levels a little lower.
