Question about Watches
I just got this watch from a friend for my birthday...it wasn't working when I got it I changed the battery and still nothing the lady that changed it said she never worked on a L.V. before...is there a reset switch or something I have to do after changing the battery so it works?
I suggest that your watch has an oxidized contacts and electricity can not reach the movement.
Do as folloes:
Take out the batttery,
Clean (scrape) all battery related contacts till they are shiny (use hardened steel needle for that),
Use the dust blower to get rid off any tiny dust and dirt particles after cleaning,
Refit the battery back.
Now your watch should work again.
If all written above do not help, then there is a problem with your watch and you will need the help of the watchmaker.
Do not forget to rate, please.

You can use the manual to manually reset the time. After you succeed in setting UK time zone, wait until midgnigth: it should synchronize itself with the time signal from Germany. If unsuccessful to do so, it will keep attempting to synchronize itself at 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5.
Read the manual to figure out how to place the watch on a window sill. It might be better to be outside.
Keep in mind that the success of the operation depends on meteorological conditions.
