I need code(s) for my DVD Video, Model #: NB093 remote control to program my Philips DVD Player/VCR, Model #: DVP3345V/17. Can you please help me? I would greatly appreciate it. Here is a picture of it.

http://remotecodelist.com/remotes/magnavox/magnavox.htm lists the code for your device as possibly being 1000, 1001, 1002, 1003, 1004, or 1005. Of course, you also have the option of using the remote controller's "Code Search" button. 25300580-iv4burzhkawezvl2jbah1xae-2-0.jpg With Codes:
Turn on the DVD/VCR unit directly. Continue to depress the remote controller's "Code Search" button for about ten seconds, release, & the light on the remote controller should stay on. Enter the four-digit code (1000, 1001, 1002, 1003, 1004, or 1005) for the DVD/VCR unit. The remote controller's light should go off. Press the remote controller's power button, & when the DVD/VCR unit turns off, then you will know that the remote controller has been correctly programmed.

Without Codes:

With the DVD/VCR unit on, continue to depress the remote controller's "Code Search" button for about ten seconds, release, & the light on the remote controller should stay on. Continue to tap the remote controller's UP or DOWN channel button ONLY UNTIL the DVD/VCR unit responds. Then, press the power button on the remote controller once the channel has changed. If the DVD/VCR unit shuts off, then press the power button again to turn it back on. If the DVD/VCR unit turns on, then the remote controller has been correctly programmed. Otherwise, repeat this whole process until the remote controller is correctly programmed.

Why Am I Unable To Program The RCA Remote Control To Operate My Components

Why am I unable to program the RCA remote control to operate a component? Why am I unable to program the RCA remote control to operate a component? If you are unable to program the remote control to operate a component, review the following information:

Compatibility
If none of the programming procedures work, the universal remote control may not be compatible with your components, based on the type of infrared technology and the age of the components. Some RCA universal remote controls will only work with components manufactured after 1990.

Distance
If you are testing the remote control after you have entered a code, you may be too far away from the component or you may not have the remote control aimed directly at the component. Because the remote control uses infrared (IR) technology to communicate with components, there must be an unobstructed path between the remote control and the IR sensor on the component.

Code Entry Methods
If the Direct Code Entry method was used to enter the codes for your brand and the unit is still not functioning properly, try one of the automatic code search methods instead. During automatic code search, the remote searches for the correct code to program.

Modes
For the remote control to know which component you wish to operate, you must put the remote control in the correct mode by pressing the corresponding component button.

Combo Units
To program the remote control to operate combo units, such as TV/VCR’s, TV/DVD’s, or TV/VCR/DVD’s, use the combo codes in the Code List to program the individual corresponding component buttons. Once programmed successfully, the TV button controls the TV functions on your unit, and the DVD or VCR button controls the DVD or VCR functions, respectively. The codes in the combo section should be tried first, using the Direct Code Entry method on the TV and DVD or VCR buttons. If this is unsuccessful, use one of the Code Search methods to program your combo unit.

Batteries
Make sure the batteries are new and properly installed.

I "inherited" a Sylvania SSD803 combo player that works well. I bought a remote online that was made for this unit. I looked at the manual and could not find any codes to program the remote. Do you ha

If you purchased a Sylvania remote to work with your Sylvania player, the codes are in the remote. No "programming" is necessary, just point and shoot.

Need a video how to program my keyless entry deadbolt lock

Which manufacturer made the keyless deadbolt lock? Make sure that the batteries are good in the unit.

I have an older Weiser Powerbolt deadbolt lock that is programmed by taking off the cover on the inside of the door. This model has handheld remotes and the keypad. Inside there are three yellow buttons. Two match the cover's lock and unlock buttons. Press and hold the third button (in the center of the set of buttons). Then enter program in the code within a few seconds and press the enter button to set the code. If the unit beeps again, the code is set. If the unit doesn't beep, retry from the press and hold the Program button step.

Another model of the Weiser Powerbolt lock has the Program button either on the top left or lower right hand side of the board (depending on the way the door opens) under the cover. Press the Program button once and then enter the 4-8 digit code. Press the Lock button to set the code. If you hear a long beep, the code was accepted; otherwise try to program your code again.

Kwikset Powerbolt locks are programmed the same way as the second Weiser Powerbolt described above.

Kwikset SmartCode locks have their Program button in the center of the bottom of the control board. Otherwise the programming is the same as that given above for the second version of Weiser Powerbolt locks.

MiLocks have three buttons in a horizontal line. The left-most button is the Set button. Press this then enter the code followed by the Unlock button. The code must be entered within 5 seconds of pressing set.

Baldwin Hardware's Boulder series of keyless entry deadbolts are programmed just like the Kwikset SmartCode units.

I don't know of any videos. Most manufacturers do have PDF files with the programming instructions.

I hope this helps. Please add more information about your deadbolt for extra assistance.

Cindy Wells
(I end up replacing the batteries often on the lock I have; it seems like they last 6 months or less.)

The lock is installed need to know how to program

First make sure you have the door handing set properly. Retract the bolt manually if extended. Now press the lock button... If the unit extends the bolt, then you're good. If not, switch the jumper position on the control board. If it's covering pins 1&2, move it to cover 2&3 or vice versa.
To program code #1..
Push the program button on the control board once. Enter your 4-8 digit code. Push the lock button to end the entry. The unit will emit a 2-second long beep. If it doesn't beep, you were too slow. Try again.
To program code #2, press the program button on the control board TWICE. Enter your 4-8 digit code. Push the lock button to end the entry. As before, the unit will emit a 2-second long beep when a successful entry is made.
Test your codes with the door open just to be sure.

NEED TO KNOW HOW TO RESET A PRESTIGE ELVATCE CAR ALARM

REPRIORITIZING A TRANSMITTER’S PROGRAMMING:
To reprogram a receiver channel with a different transmitter button once a code has been stored, there will be two options:
  1. Enter the transmitter program mode of the receiver channel to be reprogrammed. Using any unused button or combination of buttons, push out the stored code by pressing the unused button until a long chirp is heard, then repeat 3 additional times. After this, you can add any desired unused transmitter button. This action erases only that particular receiver channel, all other codes will remain stored.
  2. Enter the transmitter program mode. Using any transmitter button press and hold until a long chirp is heard. If a single chirp or multiple chirps, (up to 7 chirps), are heard, the unit is indicating that the transmitter has already been programmed elsewhere in the receiver. Release the transmitter button and within 5 seconds press and hold until a long chirp is heard. This action forces the unit to erase all stored codes of that transmitter.
The unit then exits the program mode the siren emits the program mode exit chirp pattern. All transmitter buttons for that transmitter must now be reprogrammed. Any other transmitter stored in the unit’s memory still remain operational. If the button is released and not pressed again within the 5 second period, no change in programming has been made to the receiver channel. The programmer can move onto a different channel or erase the transmitter codes as described in 1 above.

My Kenwood KDC-MP232 entered "protect" mode, & I do't know why

This unit has an anti-theft program that is activated when a code is programed.

At this point forward, the power circuit is monitored, thus when the power is disconnected or drops below 12VDC it shuts down and the code must be entered to reactivate the unit and its functions.

Other circumstances that might trigger the anti-theft shut down are...

Bad power or ground connection to head unit.
A weak or faulty battery/alternator.
A blown fuse.
A sudden power surge, as happens when jump starting another car.

As for your personal 4 digit code, I cant help you with that but some high-end car audio dealers offer a diagnostic service that can reset a coded/locked out unit.

Good luck
Aduz

Need code for Brookstone remote to work W/ Direct TV TIVO receiv

Sense you do not know the make of the receiver I would do a code search. This is how you do it.

Automatic Programming
With automatic programming, the remote control tests all the codes available
on the Code List and assigns the correct code for the selected device.
Although this method can be more time-consuming, it eliminates the need to
look up codes and enter them manually.
1. T urn off the device with which you want to use the remote control.
2. Press and hold the corresponding button on the remote control
(TV, VCR, SAT, DVD, CAB or AUD) until POWER INDICATOR illuminates. The
remote control is in programming mode.
3. Press and release . The POWER INDICATOR flashes once and stays on
indicating the unit is in Power Scan mode.
4. Press CHANNEL + or CHANNEL - repeatedly until the device turns on.
5. When the device turns on, press OK to store the code.
Note:
• To exit without storing the code, press BACK.
• The unit will search for the next code or the previous code if you press
CHANNEL + or CHANNEL - after the device turns on.
6. Press any other button. If the device responds, the remote control has been
programmed. If the device does not respond, repeat steps 2-5.

Good Luck and Please Rate FixYa!
