If this is Woods timer, then there are no replacement parts.
I am not familiar with KMD as a model number or brand.

The only timers on market today with replacement parts are Intermatic. And some Tork.

T104M used WG1573 clock motor:

http://waterheatertimer.org/How-to-replace-Intermatic-clock-motor.html
http://waterheatertimer.org/Intermatic-trippers-and-parts.html#T100
The timer mechanism has metal gears, while the clock motor has plastic gears. If the metal gears get dirty and bind, it will strip the plastic gears.
Turn off power, pull timer out of box, Clean out timer with compressed air, and spray WD40, add a bit of white grease to lever where trippers make contact, then replace clock motor ... and buy another set of trippers to have on-hand since they are designed to wear down so timer will last longer.
If timer body is broken so dial does not rotate, then buy new T104 and snap new mechanism into old box. Buying whole T104 with enclosure is cheaper than buying T104M mechanism only.

My timer keeps turning my pump on and off randomly. Is there a repair kit available to replace whatever worn/weak parts have gone out?

Intermatic has repair parts that are sold by model number of timer.
Suspects include loose wiring, bad circuit breaker, bad timer clock motor, bad timer.

1) Key things to check are loose-or-burned wires, manual override lever operation, and clock dial rotation.
If you have T104, then test across terminals 1 and 3 for 240Volts.
For example if manual override lever is broken and loose, then buy timer mechanism without replacing box. If clock is not rotating correctly, then check electrical circuit and/or buy clock motor.

Apparently, the spring under the timer dial on my 4001 timer has been broken and the timer will no longer trip the trippers. Can this be fixed? It is a nearly-new unit and I like it.

Open following link for Paragon resources:
http://waterheatertimer.org/Paragon-timers-and-manuals.html#4000

Individual parts are not sold except for X2772 tripper.
Move the manual override lever back and forth and see if load turns on-off.
Watch if on-and-off trippers are moving override lever back and forth, to see if problem is a worn tripper instead of broken spring.

Replacement 4001-00 timers are sold, even though Paragon is no longer making timers except defrost timers.

GM40 is commercial-grade electronic time piece with FM1 analog timer dial.
I bought a used GM40 once and the electronics were bad, so if this is a used timer, it might not function as expected.

I don't think the tabs/pins are broken. FM1 timer module is heavy duty.
Turning the dial clockwise does not damage timer. That's how you set current time and test timer.
Rotating dial counterclockwise is not possible without breaking the timer.
http://waterheatertimer.org/How-to-set-timers.html
http://waterheatertimer.org/pdf/Intermatic-Grasslin-gm40.pdf

FM1 analog timer module can be replaced if timer stopped working.
http://waterheatertimer.org/Intermatic-trippers-and-parts.html#FM1

If certain pins/tabs are broken, you might be able to work around problem by offsetting current time by 6 hours or 12 hours. Or you can move wires from NO to NC terminals and see if the relays are causing a problem.

To set FM1 timer, the pins are pushed outward or inward.
For example to turn on Load for 1 hour, then 4 consecutive pins are moved.
To turn on Load for 3 hours, then 12 consecutive pins are moved.
To test if pins need to be inward or outward, set some pins and then manually rotate timer dial clockwise and watch when the Load turns on-off.

My pumps won't go off when the timer says it should. It just keeps running. I have to throw the breaker to turn off the pumps.

Does the manual override turn Load ON-OFF? If manual override is broken or doesn't operate, it may be time to buy new timer mechanism and snap into existing box.
http://www.amazon.com/dp/240Volt-20
http://www.grainger.com/Grainger/INTERMATIC-24-125V-Hour-Dial-Timer
Do timer dials rotate as time passes? Do dials keep proper time? If not, you need new clock motor. Grainger sells clock motors and trippers:
http://www.grainger.com/Grainger/timer-accessories/timers/electrical/ecatalog/N-8hi
Are the tripper pins still attached to the dial? If tripper pins are worn down, they need replacement.

I was looking at GE timers at Home Depot tonight.
Timer ON is correct setting.
Segments up should be lights off.
You lights turn ON with outlet on, so lamp, bulb and electricity are good.

Troubleshoot your timer:
What happens when you manually rotate the dial clockwise?
Do lights turn on and off at scheduled times?
Move override switch both directions and rotate dial manually with switch in each position.
Are the segments pulled all the way up?
If lights do not respond when dial is rotated manually, and segments are all the way up, then timer is broken.
If lights turn on-off with manual rotation, then check if clock motor is rotating dial.
If dial is not rotating, then timer is broken.

The way these timers work is this:
Timer clock with plastic gears rotates dial.
Dial rotates as time passes.
Plastic arm rides along outside edge of segments. See photo below.
When segment is pulled up, plastic arm clicks inward via spring action.
The moving arm opens electrical contacts that turn lights OFF.
If dial is not rotating, or the spring is worn out, or the plastic arm broken off, or the contacts fused together, or override wire is disconnected, then timer is broken.

I test these timers.
4-6% arrive defective, and most last 1 or 2 seasons and then they break.
But they are priced low and easily replaced.

Kris I have this same problem. Did you figure out how to replace the flap or did you have to take it in for repair.
Does anyone else know how to replace this plastic flap?
